GReeeeN - Misenai Namida Wa, Kitto Itsuka (The Tears I Can’t Show, Surely Someday)
I usually love all their songs, but the meaning of this one hit a soft spot!
I also thought the video’s story and concept was tied together very well and definitely gave the Disney feel (having worked with an animator from Disney to put this together). The whole idea of a girl holding back her ‘namida’ (tears) - or more so, holding back her emotions as a way to demonstrate her strength. However, when she does cry - she releases her powers - and haha, saves the world. Cheesy, but you know I love me some cheese.
I still think this song is still underrated. It deserves more love! It’s also very fitting as the theme song for Strawberry Night.
