Their voices blend really well together. Love this song!

Although the song is really simple (I get that because AKB48 (Baby Blossom) probably can’t chug out a more complicated tune given that they just literally picked up some instruments for this single), it’s slowly growing on me. It is kind of refreshing to see them as a girl band, even though I would have preferred other girls thrown in (Sayaka Akimoto!!). I also think some girls were just thrown in for the sake of having them there.

It’s a boring PV and Akimoto Yasushi is definitely banking on the K-ON! craze. Work that cash cow!

Hitomi no Juunin (In Your Eyes)

I remember having this on repeat in 2004. One of my favorite l’arc songs - and perhaps one of my favorite love songs, as well. :)

I always sang this part with so much gusto. With a lot of emphasis on the “soba ni itteeeeeeeeeee” Ha!

Well, I hope this is not their last televised performance as a band. :( “Konya wa Karasawagi” and “Ginjou Biyori” was performed on a very 1920s set for Music Station.

You betcha I have high hopes riding on this one.

Is it bad that whenever I think of Lucky Seven - I hear “Rakiiiiii Sebunnnnn” in my head? D:

Kohmi Hirose - Romance no Kamisama (The Cupid of Romance)

AKB48 and SMAP both can’t sing, but I will admit my heart melted at the “Original Smile” opening of the performance.

All and all, it was a mildly adorable performance. KimTaku also hams it up as usual. SMAP, you’re smart for getting in on the AKB cash cow now before it all runs out, haha. Way to stay ultra relevant, guys! ;) (JK - kinda. I still love SMAP!)

I was really lukewarm about the Rurouni Kenshin live action movie. After watching this teaser trailer, I have high expecations and am truly excited to see it!
